The Konstantinos Argiros and 50 Cent concert at OAKA stadium in Athens, Greece kicked off at 6:30 pm on Sunday, October 30th.

Excited crowds, committed fans, and youngsters have flooded the OAKA stadium to witness the most talked about concert of the year in Athens. Even though the concert was postponed from its initial October 29th date, it was worth the wait for the sold out performance, and the audience will undoubtedly experience a concert like no other!

Argiros, one of the most beloved Greek singers of his generation, and 50 Cent, one of the world’s most iconic rappers, have joined forces to provide their fans in Greece with a one-of-a-kind music experience: a blend of Greek folk and rap.

Josephine, FY, and The Kings opened the concert. Special guests include Light and Rack.



Argiros bursts into tears on stage

Konstantinos Argiros was moved and shed tears of joy on stage, upon seeing how many people had gathered to express their love and admiration towards him.

The surprise concert by Konstantinos Argiros and 50 Cent was to take place on Saturday afternoon on October 29th at OAKA. However, due to unrevealed technical issues, the concert was suddenly postponed to Sunday afternoon.

“The change in the date of the Konstantinos Argiros & 50 Cent concert at OAKA came about suddenly this morning due to technical issues,” Panik Records wrote. “We are pleased to inform you that all the issues that arose have…finally [been] resolved.”

“Therefore, we are waiting for you on Sunday, October 30 at [6:30 pm] to experience the magic of music! Doors open at [4 pm],” the recording company added.

“We apologize for the inconvenience,” the company said. “The tickets you have purchased are valid for your entry, while the pre-sale continues as normal. Those who purchased tickets [who] will not be able to attend the concert, on Monday [October 31st], we will announce how to redeem…tickets and [get a ] refund.”

Argiros and 50 Cent celebrate together before concert

Konstantinos Argiros is an uber-famous Greek folk pop singer, whose music career in recent years has skyrocketed. His popular song “Athina Mou” became a global hit. He has released a total of seven studio albums, which have sold thousands of copies across Greece.

The two artists were seen spending time together two days prior to their big concert. Argiros posted pictures on his social media pages with the American rapper and his associates on a luxury yacht.

“In Athens with my friends, 50 Cent, Lenny Grant and Tony Yayo. We are warming up!” wrote Konstantinos Argiros, who had a Greek flag wrapped around his neck.

50 Cent appreciates Greece

Curtis James Jackson III, known professionally as 50 Cent, is an American rapper, actor, and businessman. Known for his legendary impact in the hip hop industry, he has been described as a “master of the nuanced art of lyrical brevity.”

50 Cent has sold over thirty million albums worldwide and won several awards, including a Grammy Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, thirteen Billboard Music Awards, six World Music Awards, three American Music Awards, and four BET Awards.

The rapper has shown his love for Greece multiple times. Earlier in August, the rapper was on Mykonos enjoying some moments of relaxation on the island. He also performed at a well-known nightclub.
