Dua Lipa takes yoga to a different level with her breath-taking videos displaying her yoga abilities and making it look effortless.
Dua Lipa Will Guide Yoga Session
The “Levitating” singer revealed on her social media that while waiting for Season 2 to premiere, she thought she would do a little experiment; a three-part summer series of unique episodes, the first of which would be a guided yoga class led by herself. One of three special summer episodes, “The Yoga Class,” will air this Friday.
Dua Lipa’s Growing Prowess on the Yoga Mat
It’s no secret that Lipa enjoys yoga. She discusses her favorite grounding yoga poses, the one-legged pigeon pose, and the happy baby pose in her newsletter, Service95.
By routinely posting videos of herself doing anything from headstands to the crow pose, a balance pose in which a person elevates their feet off the ground while digging their knees into their upper arms, Lipa has already displayed her growing prowess on the yoga mat.
Along with practicing yoga, Dua Lipa works out in the gym, sculpting her body in a variety of ways. According to Sora Connor, a colleague of hers, they always ”work the entire body.”
”Sometimes it’s more core-focused, other times it’s glutes,” said Conor. ”The main objective is to work the muscles so that they become strong and toned, but the focus is on creating a long lean line.”
Dua Lipa Sparks Controversy
A few years ago, the singer of Albanian descent sparked controversy after posting a map which forms part of hard-line nationalist dreams for a greater Albania on Twitter. The map included Kosovo and parts of Serbia, Montenegro, the Greek island of Corfu and southern Epirus, Greece. Ironically the word “Autochthonous”(Αυτόχθονος) which appears on the banner and in her post, is of Greek origin.
