Greece: 715 New Cases of Covid-19, 95 Patients Intubated Monday

On Monday, 715 cases of Covid-19 were recorded in the country, along with seven deaths in those who had suffered with the virus.
Of the total new cases announced on Monday, 93 are linked to known outbreaks across the country, and 48 were identified during testing at Greeceā€™s points of entry.
In total, 31,496 cases of Covid-19 have been recorded in Greece since the beginning of the pandemic, including all those who have recovered from the virus. Of this total, 3,883 are associated with foreign travel and 12,194 with contact with a known case.
There are currently 95 intubated patients in intensive care units around Greece. Their median age is 65, and just 32 are women.
Of the intubated patients, 95.8% are over the age of 70 or suffer from preexisting conditions. A total of 274 patients have been discharged from ICUs in the country.
The seven new deaths recorded on Monday bring the number of total fatalities in the country to 581. Of those who lost their lives after suffering with the virus, 220 have been women.
The median age of those who passed away with Covid-19 was 79, and 96.2% of them were over the age of 70 or had underlying health issues.
