Actress Mena Suvari announced that she is pregnant with a baby boy at 41, which she and husband Michael Hope are expecting in the Spring of 2021.
The actress, who is of Greek-Estonian descent, confessed that even though she had been trying to conceive with her husband since the beginning of 2020, the pregnancy came as a bit of a shock.
Suvari was concerned about her age being a factor in possibly making a pregnancy difficult. So when she felt something shift in her body in the summer and then had a positive pregnancy test, she was overjoyed!
Now that she is halfway through her second trimester, the “American Beauty” actress took to Instagram to share news of the pregnancy.
Under a beautiful photo of her and her pregnant belly, she wrote the caption, “The greatest, most precious gift has come our way. Through all the trauma, through all the struggle, through all the doubt, our little angel has chosen us.
“I will never have enough words to describe my love for this beautiful soul coming into our lives, but I wont [sic] ever stop trying to give him the best life possible. You’re all I’ve ever wanted and the most important thing that will ever matter.”
