Greece’s Public Heath Authority, EODY, announced on Thursday that there had been 269 new cases of the coronavirus detected in the country over the last day, tying the record, which was set earlier this week. However, no deaths attributable to the virus were recorded in the last 24 hours, keeping the death  toll at 235.
In a continuing trend, only 11 of these cases were picked up at the nation’s entrance points and border gates. The total number of cases in the country is now 7, 934, of which 55.3% are male.
A total of 1,783, or 22.5% are known to be related to foreign travel, while 3,658, or 46.1%, are connected to an already-known case.
