Greece Reports Two Coronavirus Deaths After Three Days of Zero Fatalities

Greek health authorities reported the death of two patients from the coronavirus on Sunday night following nearly three days without any fatalities at all.
Sunday’s first victim was a 66-year-old woman who was being treated at the capital’s Sotiria Hospital, who also suffered from underlying health problems which contributed to her death.
Just a few hours later, an 87-year-old man succumbed to the virus at the NIMTS Naval Hospital, also in Athens. He too had suffered from underlying health problems, according to reports.
Greece’s death toll from the coronavirus pandemic stands at 177. The total number of cases, including all those who have recovered, is 2,917.
Of the total cases, 636 are linked to travel abroad and 1,696 are linked to already known cases in Greece.
A total of 13 people are currently intubated in ICUs in Greece. Their median age is 70 years, and four of them are women.
