Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee was a very special guest star on the latest episode of ABC’s sitcom “The Goldbergs”.
The famous rocker plays the polar opposite of his real-life persona, a rock-hating professor. Playing a serious, glasses-wearing, uptight professor was a real stretch for the wild, fun-loving Lee.
In the episode, Lee says of rock music, “you mean that deafening noise made by morally questionable gentlemen?”
Talking about his appearance on the show, the rock star said, “I love doing this type of thing. I got to work with an amazing cast and crew, play dress up for a day and have a blast.”
Lee, who has now been married to actress Brittany Furlan for a year, seems to be very successful lately in his personal and professional life.
The show aired on Wednesday, February 12, at 8 PM EST. Other cast members include series regulars Wendi McLendon-Covey, Troy Gentile, and Hayley Orrantia. You can watch reruns on ABC or look up the episode online to see Tommy Lee’s hilarious guest appearance.
