Mötley Crüe Shocks Fans By Announcing Comeback Tour

Hard rock band Mötley Crüe, made up of Vince Neil, Nikki Sixx, Mick Mars, and famous Greek-American drummer Tommy Lee, shocked fans by announcing a comeback tour.

The reason the announcement took the industry by surprise is because the band had previously signed a cessation of touring agreement.

But apparently, Mötley Crüe is now ripping up that contract and forging ahead with a new tour in 2020 anyway. More specifically, the band posted a video on Monday, November 18, where they in fact blew up the agreement in order to announce their new tour. In just one day, the video, titled “Mötley Crüe Is Back!”, has racked up over half a million views.

The band has been known for rebellious and rule-breaking behavior since they appeared on the stage in the 1980s.

Though they have enjoyed a long career, Mötley Crüe has not appeared on a touring stage since December 31, 2015.

The band has enjoyed a surge in popularity again recently after the release of Netflix’s “The Dirt”, a movie following the band’s rise to fame and wild adventures throughout the years. Machine Gun Kelly, who played Tommy Lee in “The Dirt”, narrated the band’s video announcement of their comeback tour.

Few details are known about the tour so far, but they will be revealed soon. Check out the full video above.
