Greece Returns to Winning Ways With Gutsy Performance Against Bosnia (video)

The Greek National team recorded its first win in six matches seeing off visiting Bosnia 2-1 with a much improved performance at an almost empty Olympic Stadium of Athens late on Tuesday.
In this first win under Dutch manager John van’t Schip, Greece played quite entertaining soccer and deserved victory, which came two minutes from regulation time by an own goal.
Willem II striker Vangelis Pavlidis, who came in at the expense of Efthymis Koulouris, put Greece in front with a clinical finish following a slick passing move on the half-hour, but the lead lasted just five minutes before Amer Gojak leveled matters with a tap-in.
Greece hit the woodwork twice in a second-half they dominated, and justice was finally done when Adnan Kovacevic prodded home an own goal following a Giannis Fetfatzidis cross two minutes from time to secure a deserved win for Greece.
The result leaves Greece still second from bottom of Group J but now with eight points from eight games.
