The business opportunities arising from an era of political and economic volatility will be examined at a high-level conference of financial experts, including John P. Calamos Sr., the founder, Chairman and Global Chief Investment Officer of Calamos Investments.
The 12th Annual Economic Forecast, organized by the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce and Calamos Investments, will be held from 4 PM to 7 PM on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at Hotel Arista in Naperville, IL.
The Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce is the largest suburban chamber in Illinois with an active membership of 1,200 organizations of every size and from every sector.
Calamos will share insight and analyses of market conditions for the coming year and give attendees the information they need to better prepare and manage their businesses.
“Fears of slowing global growth, escalating trade tensions, falling rates across the world, concerns that the Federal Reserve may be less responsive than required, and mounting political uncertainty set the stage for continued market volatility,” says Calamos.
“However there are opportunities amid the volatility, so expect them to be in the spotlight at this year’s Forecast event,” he adds on a positive note.
Financial expert Terry Savage will return as session moderator. A best-selling author, regular guest on CNN and CBS, and a Chicago Tribune columnist, Savage helps consumers make sense of the markets and the economy.

Joining Calamos on the panel of experts are Gus Faucher, Chief Economist for PNC Financial Services Group, and Caroline Harris, Vice President, Tax Policy & Chief Tax Policy Counselor for the US Chamber of Commerce, the world’s largest business federation.
