Greece, Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria Bid to Host EURO 2028, Mundial 2030

Aleksandar Vucic, the President of Serbia, following the joint meeting held in Belgrade between the leaders of Serbia, Greece, Bulgaria, and Romania announced that the four countries will submit their joint candidacy to potentially host two major football competitions, the EURO 2028 and the World Cup in 2030.
Vucic said that a 16-member committee will be formed in which four representatives from each country will participate.

The four leaders also discussed ways of enhancing their cooperation in various fields, with the three members of the European Union, Greece, Romania, and Bulgaria pledging to support Serbia’s efforts to join the EU in the near future.
