PAOK celebrate another win

PAOK beat 10-man Larissa 2-1 at Toumba stadium on Sunday night to extend their lead to 7 points over their closest rivals for the Super League race.
A penalty kick by Aleksandar Prijovic on the stroke of half-time cancelled Larissa’s lead from a Marko Nunic header on the 37 minute.
Larissa was reduced to 10 men as Nikos Karanikas was shown a second yellow card at the penalty incident.
Chuba Akpom scored the winning goal for the Thessaloniki club in the second half.

Atromitos leaped into second place after a pulsating 4-2 win over Aris Thessaloniki.
Prolific striker Efthymis Koulouris was once again at the heart of the action, scoring twice for Atromitos to fire the Peristeri outfit past Aris in a match which was full of drama.
After Mergim Mavraj missed a penalty for Aris at 0-1 down, Koulouris doubled Atromitos’ advantage, and despite four goals being scored between the 89th and 94th minute, the hosts held on to eventually win 4-2 and return to second place of the Super League table.

10-man Olympiacos dropped two vital Super League points on the road, as the Piraeus club could only draw 1-1 at Xanthi.
After hitting the woodwork twice in the first half, Olympiacos fell behind when Jagos Vukovic deflected Jeffrey Sarpong’s effort past Jose Sa, but the Serbian defender popped up with an equaliser 14 minutes from time.
Olympiacos pushed for the win, but when Daniel Podence was sent off for a second yellow card on 78 minutes, hopes of a victory were extinguished and they had to settle for a point.
