Three 15-year-old teenagers from Kyparissia died after the car they had taken without permission crashed on the highway between the Peloponesse cities of Pyrgos and Methoni.
The fatal accident happened on Monday morning, after the boys decided to leave school, take the car of the father of one of them and go to the town of Filiatra.
The teenagers’ car collided with a small truck, driven by a 48-year-old man. The impact was so severe that the car was completely destroyed.
The three teenagers were all athletes who played for the city of Kyparissia’s soccer team.
