The town of Karystos in Greece’s Evia celebrated ‘OXI Day” in its own special way on Sunday morning, October 28.
The good weather allowed for hundreds of people to attend the parade at the town’s waterfront street.

Apart from the town’s students, many men along with members of the cavalry rode horseback, wearing period costumes and uniforms from 1940, offering a beautiful spectacle to the people who gathered there.
