According to Eurozone officials, the decision regarding the issue of the scheduled for January 2019 Greek pension cuts will be made in December, after a full examination of Greece’s budget draft for 2019.
This issue is not included in the agenda of the discussions for the next meeting of Eurogroup in October 1, but the same officials have not ruled out the possibility of an informal discussion about the issue.
The decision will be made after all Eurozone’s member states file their budget drafts. The deadline for this is October 15 and it will be followed by the advisory of the European Commission before the issue goes for official discussion at a ministerial level in Eurogroup, probably this December.
