Greeks and friends of Greece in Australia are being encouraged to tune into to a special broadcast of a fundraising event on Wednesday to help those affected by the Attica fires.
Melbourne’s Greek Center will host a very special live benefit broadcast hosted by The Friday Revue’s Richelle Hunt and Brian Nankervis.
The line-up includes music from The Philhellenes playing Rebetika, Tim Rogers, La Voce della Luna, Jessie Lloyd, Zourouna and special guests Mary Coustas, George Donikian, Komninos and Pi O.
ABC Radio Melbourne & Victoria is supporting the Australian Red Cross – Greek Fires Appeal to raise funds for the Hellenic Red Cross which is providing humanitarian support for people and communities affected by the Greek fires.
