Tsitsipas Continues to Set Records and Make Grand Slam History

On Friday 19-year-old Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas made history by beating out his Italian competitor Thomas Fabbiano, making him the first Greek man in the Open Era to reach the fourth round of a Grand Slam.
His victorious score of 6-2, 6-1, 6-4 over Fabbiano has once again put the teenager in the spotlight. Now standing in the position of a career high World No. 35 in the ATP Rankings, when just one year ago he came in at No. 192.
He is setting records as he goes by being the first Greek man in 49 years to make it to the third round of a major as well as becoming the first Greek to battle to a tour-level final since 1973.
The young athlete ended his 2017 tour with only four tour-level wins where as thus far, his 2018 record is 22 wins.
Next up for Tsitsipas is facing off with ninth seed John Isner or Moldovan Radu Albot for a spot in the quarter-finals.
