For over thirty years, Ronald McDonald House BC and Yukon, has been providing accommodation for children who are seriously ill and their families, when they need to travel to Vancouver for major treatment.

Since 1983, families at their 13 bedroom home in Shaughnessy in Vancouver, have been welcomed however, the need for their services was much greater than this.

Therefore, in 2013, construction on a new 73 bedroom home which is conveniently located on the grounds of BC Children’s Hospital, began.
