Hellenic Coast Guard, Police Chase Drug Boat from Ionian to Aegean (video)

A large-scale sea operation with the participation of the Greek coast guard and police for the arrest of drug traffickers took place on Sunday, starting in the Ionian Sea and ending in the Aegean.
Boats, helicopters, even divers took part in an operation that started on Corfu and ended on Kea island where authorities arrested six drug dealers, according to national broadcaster ERT.
In the north of Corfu, the law enforcement agencies started chasing a high-powered, high-speed boat, coming from Albania loaded with drugs. More boats from island port authorities and aircrafts were deployed along the way in order to chase the drug smugglers.
Finally, according to ERT, authorities arrested four Albanian and two Italian nationals, all members of a drug ring that authorities had under surveillance for weeks.
