Greek Crisis Among Issues to be Discussed by G7

The ongoing economic crisis in Greece will be part of the discussions at the G7 summit to be held May 11-13 in Bari, Italy, according to the Athens News Agency.
ANA cites a U.S. Treasury official who said that there are still problems with the sovereign debt of European countries like Greece. The U.S. source said that there is still work needed for the Greek debt to become sustainable. He also added that Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said that Europe must deal with the issue of the Greek debt and welcomed the recent agreement of the Greek government with European creditors on tax and pension reforms.
The representatives of the seven richest nations in the world will also discuss the European and global economy, trade issues, taxation, sovereign debts and other issues.
