Greek Rice Pudding

Here’s a traditional recipe on how to make Greek Rice pudding aka ryzogalo:

Ingredients:

  • 5oz – 100gr rice
  • 250ml water
  • 1 Litre milk
  • 3oz – 150gr sugar
  • 2 ½ tablespoon corn flour
  • Cinnamon
  1. Boil the rice in 250 ml of water for 10 minutes.
  2. Add 3 cups of milk and boil for 15 minutes. Stir often.
  3. Add 150gr sugar.
  4. Dissolve 2 tbsp of corn flour in a cup of milk and add in the mix.
  5. Boil for another 10-15 minutes stiring often.
  6. As the pot is cooling off stir for 1-2 minutes.
  7. Serve and add powedered cinnamon.
