President Obama to Make 'Legacy Speech' While Visiting Athens

ObamaAs Greece awaits the final word confirming the details of U.S. President Barak Obama’s visit; there are rumors in the air regarding the speech President Obama will deliver from Athens.
American officials have stated that President Obama is planning to execute a “legacy speech” from Athens, comparing it to the one that Kennedy made in Berlin in 1962. The President will be covering an array of topics in his speech, from democracy in Greece, the strength of the Greek people and the need for debt relief in the country along with structural reforms, sources report.
He will not be visiting the Greek island of Lesvos as was initially rumored, as officials have stated that the migrant hotspot is a security concern for the President. He is instead said to have plans in the works to perhaps visit a refugee camp in Attica, on the mainland.
In addition, President Obama is said to have a specific message for Turkey, according to sources.
President Obama is scheduled to arrive on November 14-15. There is still no word if First Lady Michelle Obama will be joining the President on this trip.
