Greece’s cultural heritage will be showcased with two new museums that promote the country’s uniqueness by casting the spotlight on its products.
The Chios Mastic Museum is to be launched in June, giving visitors a chance to learn about the unique product. The Silversmithing Museum is to be launched in Ioannina in the fall.
The museums are being funded by the Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation that already operates museums in other areas around Greece (Lesvos, Stymfalia, Tinos, Volos, Dimitsana, Sparta and Soufli).
