The Kasta tomb of Amphipolis has become a board game in which its players are called to rescue the precious findings that are threatened to be destroyed by landfalls within the archaeological monument.
The new board game is entitled “Amphipolis,” and is based on an idea of the popular toy company Desillas, while kudos go to Reiner Knizia for designing the game. Knizia is also designer of the board game version of “The Lord of the Rings.”
There is also an international version of the game available for the German, British and American market, and most of the reviews are positive, especially by the International Board Game Exhibition in Essen, Germany, last October.
