Refugees Face Increasing Violence as They Seek a Way to Europe

_--Refugees-Face-Increasing-ViolenceAs fear of refugees begins to spread all over Europe, the rate of violence perpetrated against refugees keep increasing while 10,000 refugee children are missing, according to Europol.
The German tabloid Bild reported this past weekend that, according to claims made by the international humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders, there have been numerous incidents of violence perpetrated against refugees who were in FYROM and have now returned to Greece.
Only a few days ago, the FYROM police used tear gas and stun grenades against refugees after hundreds of frustrated Iraqi and Syrian refugees tried to force their way through a razor-wire barrier across the border into the southeastern European country from Greece.
Speaking on Mega TV Channel in Greece, Korina Kanistra. Deputy Field Coordinator, Idomeni, said that the violence was at first orchestrated against Moroccans and Algerians, who were trying to cross the border and were illegal migrants, but then it spread to Iraqis and Iranians who have legal documents.
Ms. Kanistra also mentioned the horrible conditions that many refugees are forced to endure in Idomeni, saying that the camp has been made to accommodate about 2,000 people, but there are already several more thousands currently staying at Idomeni camp.
