The Life of a Jihadi Wife

aigiptios708One of the most shocking things about the rise and spread of jihadism as practiced by the Islamic State (ISIS) is its distinct ability to draw recruits not merely from war-torn regions in the Middle East and elsewhere, but from the very place where the Enlightenment started and spread to the United States.
Europe has been a most fertile ground in the recruit effort of the most savage and barbaric Islamic terrorist organization of our time.
The story of the 29-year-old Swiss ex-wife of an Egyptian man who sought to find her way to Syria along with their 4-year-old son in order to offer her services to ISIS, speaks volumes of the ideological power that jihadism seems to hold for certain people at the heart of the advanced western world, including, ironically enough, lots of women.
The 29-year-old woman, named Francisca, was eventually arrested by Greek authorities before she and her son joined ISIS in its holy war against infidels and the West.
Her husband describes a highly unstable woman who became mesmerized by the mission of Islamic jihad religion and ideology when she first learned about the rise of ISIS. Francisca planned her trip to Syria months in advance and had her furniture and personal belongings sold online, said her ex-husband, who went on to thank the Greek authorities and the Interpol for her arrest and for saving his son from becoming a servant and an eventual martyr for fanatical Islamists.
