Funny ladies Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have been in headlines quite a lot lately as their movie “Sisters” comes closer to premiering on screens across the country. In their latest promo for their new movie, they decided to release a video spoofing the “Making Of” video of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”.
Both “Sisters” and the new “Star Wars” movie will be released on December 18th, explaining the friendly rivalry Fey and Poehler have with the film.
In the “Sisters: The Farce Awakens” spoof, the comedy duo got friend and former SNL co-star Maya Rudolph to do her own take on Chewbacca, and even included a quick appearance by “Star Trek” actor George Takei in a Darth Vader costume.
They spend most of the video making witty commentary on the making of “Sisters”, mostly in their self-described “drunk British” accents.
Watch the video above and get excited for the release of “Sisters” later this month!
