Athens Tour Through New 360° Video Project

Athens
Experience Greece‘s new spherical video about the beautiful capital city of Athens in the sprawling hilly basin of Attica delivers a unique enhanced experience through a wonderful walking tour around AcropolisDionysiou Areopagitou StreetThiseio and Monastiraki.
Notwithstanding the fact that traditional videos offer just one angle of reference, the first 360 degrees video made in Greece gives the illusion of a 3D representation, enabling viewers to take an active role in selecting the angles they see.
Turn your head around and you see different parts of the spherical moving picture using your mouse to click and drag (or the gyroscope of your smartphone) anywhere within the video frame, just as if you were standing right there in the middle of the action.
The Experience Greece project, produced by distinguished journalists Yiannis Drenoyiannis and Valy Vaimaki, constitutes a pioneering series of interactive culture and travel applications for smartphones and tablets promoting popular Greek destinations such as Athens, Corfu, Mykonos, Naxos, Paros, Rhodes and Santorini.
