Schaeuble Warns Varoufakis to Not Change Terms of Agreement

soimple-var-eu-708_0German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble maintained his hard stance on Greece by warning his Greek counterpart Yanis Varoufakis to not change the terms of the bailout extension agreement.
Speaking to German newspaper Stuttgarter Zeitung, Mr. Schauble said that the burden of responsibility for the payment of the planned funds is in the hands of the Greek government which should implement the terms of the bailout program.
The German official also warned Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis that he should not be tempted to change the terms of the agreement. “If the Greek Finance Minister will state that the agreement between the Eurogroup and Greece is unclear, it will mean that he does it knowing it is wrong.”
“Before further funds will be released, Athens would have to demonstrate that it has implemented the agreed terms,” Schaeuble said in the interview. “It is up to Greece how long it will take to meet the conditions,” he added.
