Teodosio Sectio AureaGreek artist Teodosio Sectio Aurea creates unique and original pieces of art by masterfully playing with shadows and three-dimensional compositions.
Aurea, self-taught, creates extremely detailed sculptures from metal and wire, which are bent and shaped to create a perfect shadow. At first glance, his sculptures seem to be a tangled mass of metal and wire but, when placed against the right light and seen from the correct angle, they are transformed into a unique, beautiful shadow on the wall, always connected in a philosophical way with the original sculpture.
His shadow images range from human figures such as a dancing lady or a kissing couple to the recreation of recognizable artworks from renowned artists such as Pablo Picasso, Leonardo Da Vinci and Michelangelo.
