Savvas Xeros: "Christodoulos is in Mortal Danger"

savvas XerosSavvas Xeros, the imprisoned member of terrorist organisation November 17 and brother of the fugitive Christodoulos Xeros, commented on his brothers escape and the video announcing his return to action.
Xeros claimes that his brother is facing “mortal danger”. He also revealed that his brother had repeatedly been denied a transfer to a rural prison. Regarding other members of the organization who may possibly still remain at large, Xeros claimed that the Greek authorities have arrested them all.
Xeros  agreed with Koufontinas‘ (arrested member of November 17) statement that the militant organization has “closed its circle.” Xeros stated that he does not wish to be referred to as a terrorist, but rather as a prisoner. With regards to the group’s actions, he apologized to the victims and their families and claimed that their motive was not hatred or revenge, but rather militant propaganda.
Xeros also talked about the conditions of his arrest, interrogation and detention. He claims that he is being held in solitary confinement at Korydallos prison and that he has not been allowed to access the courtyard since 2005. Moreover he revealed that since his brothers escape, he has been denied the medical treatment he was receiving for serious health problems.
