Greek Stock Market Fourth Best Υield in the World

Athens-stock-exchange-007A CNBC study showed that the Greek stock market has one of the best yields in the world. In fact, the ASE was ranked fourth on a global scale for 2013.
First place went to the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange that gained 83.71% more compared with the previous year. The Argentinean market, despite the country’s problems, including high inflation and unemployment, managed to grab the interest of investors in 2013.
Second place went to the Japanese Stock Exchange, which showed an increase of 48.18% .
The Irish Stock Exchange is in the third place. After plans to exit the Memorandum in 2013, Ireland, just like Greece, presented a new development plan that managed to show an increase of 27% in gain.
The American Stock Exchange is in fifth place, with the S&P increasing by 24%.
The Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange showed a 23.33% increase; Egypt Stock Exchange 20%; Germany Stock Exchange 18.31%; Switzerland Stock Exchange 18.31%; and the Spain Stock Exchange gained 14.75% more compared to the previous year.
