Tragedy in Tempi Kills 1, Injures 17

One man lost his life in a car accident that occurred yesterday evening in Tempi, Greece. The tragedy in Tempi caused injuries to seventeen people, four of which are seriously injured and in critical condition.
According to witnesses, it was 10:20 in the evening on Monday, when a 45-year-old man driving a yellow Alpha Romeo car — 700 meters away from the Tempi toll station — tried to pass a bus that was heading to Thessaloniki. The man while attempting to pass the bus, crashed into a large truck coming in the opposite direction and then a few seconds later collided with the bus.
After the horrific collision, many ambulances arrived on scene. The first people carried to the hospital in an ambulance were those who were heavily injured. Eventually, a total of 15 people were taken to the hospital.
Among the injured taken to the hospital was the driver of the Alfa Romeo. A few minutes after arriving to the hospital, the unfortunate 45-year-old man succumbed to his wounds and died.
Those who were seriously injured are in Larisa’s Hospital, while the others were transferred to the University Hospital of Larissa.
