German Eurosceptics Predict Greek Eurozone Exit

eurosceptic partyThe leader of the Eurosceptic party alternative for Germany (AFD) Byrd Luke predicts an inevitable haircut due to lack of primary surplus.

Luque Byrd declared that a new Greek debt relief is inevitable and added that Greece will exit the Eurozone because there is no primary surplus.

Commenting on Prime Minister Antonis Samaras’ meeting with Angela Merkel in Berlin, Mr Luque said that “primary surplus, despite Athens claims that it has been achieved, actually does not exist and is the result of the well- known Greek progressive accounting.”

He stressed that Greece could regain competitiveness and an economic future in the case that debt relief will be connected to the exit of Greece from Eurozone, so its currency could be devalued.

He added “the lenders should stop their financial assistance because they lose endless amounts in a hopeless case.”
