Greek Participation in Fire Prevention in NSW

Greece- AustraliaWinter is back in Victoria, but one of the key issues in Australia’s current affairs is the sharp rise in temperature in combination with the very strong winds and the weather conditions that present serious fire risks in Australia.

For today in particular, the Bureau of Meteorology issued a special weather forecast for a heat wave with a particularly high risk of fires in the region of New South Wales, while the competent departments take measures for all types of circumstances, with thousands of firefighters on standby and with an entry ban for the wooded areas.

The AAP newswire also mentioned that today, Thursday, 10 October, two cranes are expected to arrive from Greece. After the necessary checks, the machines will be ready to assist the Australian fire service.
