The G.Hatzikosta General hospital in Ioannina has been occupied for a long time. According to the Greek media, it seems that the police have arrested eight people. Five of them are from Bulgaria, two from Romania and one from Somalia.
The suspects have been accused of breaching the peace, material damages, and illegal immigration.
According to the police report, the arrested illegal immigrants were also hiding two hundred banners, eleven flag poles, a number of flags, three gas masks, one knife, clothing and printed material.
The Prosecutor of Ioannina was informed of the police operation, while all police actions took place before a judicial officer.
Those arrested will be brought to the prosecutor, while the three occupied buildings have already been given to the hospital.
