New Violent Episodes in Përmet

permetAfter the scenes of brutality that were recorded against clergymen on August 17 at the Church of the Virgin Mary in Përmet, a town in Albania, capital of the Përmet District, new violent episodes took place on August 19.

Orthodox believers that had gathered at the Church of the Virgin Mary were brutally attacked by Albanian police forces.

New, violent and serious incidents were recorded inside and outside the Holy Church of Orthodox in Përmet, while extensive use of chemicals was noted.

According to information by epirusgate, several people have been injured and have been transferred inside the church for first aids.
