Two young children, 4-year-old Dinko and 7-year-old Ivan, brothers from Bulgaria, who were missing since July 31 were found dead in an irrigation canal at the region of Strefi in Ilia, Greece, on August 1 at 8:30 in the morning.
The police had been searching for the two brothers at the irrigation canal on July 31 in the afternoon when the children disappeared. Some of the minors’ personal belongings were found there and for that reason investigations were focused on the particular location.
There have been no indications until now that this is a criminal act, but the police are investigating every possibility. Announcements are expected to be made during the day.
