Two More Earthquakes in Crete

seismos_568_355Two more earthquakes occurred during the night in southwest Crete a few minutes apart.
According to flashnews.gr, the first earthquake, a 3.9 on the Richter scale, was recorded at 2:39  Its epicenter was in the sea area located 57 km west of Paleochora and its focal depth is estimated at 60 kilometers.
The second quake was a few minutes later at 2:45 am, with a magnitude of 3.6 on the Richter scale.
Its epicenter was near the shore, just 43 kilometers west of Paleochora and its focal depth is estimated at 30 km.
