Usually it’s the perpetrators who “strip off” their victims. However, in the case of an elderly woman from a village in Aitoloakarnania, the roles literally reversed!
Under the threat of her walking stick the 80-year-old lady forced the two gypsies who sneaked into her house to get undressed so she could make sure they had not stolen anything from her apartment.
As it turned out, the 80-year-old “Rambo” was not at all intimidated by the presence of the two strangers in her house in Etoliko, after having returned from her shopping. When she entered her house, she first came across one of the gypsies who was walking down the stairs.
The old lady immediately grabbed her stick and ordered the perpetrator to take off all her clothes to see what she had stolen. The gypsy was scared and without a second thought did what she was told.
After a while, the same happened to the other gypsy. When the dynamic 80-year-old made sure they hadn’t stolen anything, she let them leave without informing the Police.
It’s pretty sure however they will probably think twice before invading her house again.
