Greek Kraniotis Candidate for Nobel Peace 2013

kraniotisThe Greek doctor and award-winning poet and writer, Dimitris P. Kraniotis is candidate from the Organization Global Harmony Association for the Nobel Peace Prize 2013, as he is one of the 76 authors-members of the organization, who wrote the book, The ABC of Harmony,  concerning world peace.
He was born in Stomio, Larissa, a coastal town in central Greece. He studied at the Medical School of the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, Greece. He lives and works as a Medical Doctor (Internal Medicine Specialist Physician) in Larissa, Greece. He is also a renowned poet.
Kraniotis is member of several literary organizations, such as the National Society of Greek Literary Writers, the Hellenic Literary Society, the Greek PEN Center, The Hellenic Society of Physician Writers, International Society of Greek Writers, International Writers Association (IWA), United Poets Laureate International (UPLI), World Academy of Arts & Culture (WAAC), Academy of American Poets, Poetry Society of America, Global Harmony Association (GHA) and many more.
He is also Vice-President of Larissa Union of Poets and Writers, Vice-President of Thessaly Association of Letters and Arts, Vice-President of Larissa Medical Association “Hippocrates”, Editorial Director of the Greek medical magazine Hippocrates, Member of the Board of Directors of Global Harmony Association (Russia) and Member of the Editorial Board of the Greek literary magazines, Graphi and Pneumatiki Larissa, according to his official website.
He is Academician of Academy Tiberina of Rome (Italy), Academician of International Academy of Micenei (Italy), Doctor of Literature by World Academy of Arts and Culture (USA), elected President of the 22nd World Congress of Poets (Larissa, Greece 2011) by United Poets Laureate International (USA), President of World Poets Society (WPS), National President of Spanish-American Union of Writers (UHE) in Greece and Ambassador of Poetas del Mundo.
Kraniotis has participated in literary conferences and world meetings representing Greece. He has won a number of international awards for his poetry, which has been published in many countries around the world, such as the USA, France, Great Britain, India, and Italy.
His poems have been translated into 20 languages: English, French, Romanian, Bulgarian, Serbian, Albanian, Dutch, Turkish, Japanese, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, Chinese, Czech, Portuguese, Bengali, etc, and have been published in many countries around the world.
