delta air linesOn June 2, Delta Air Lines will start operating again the seasonal nonstop flight connecting Athens International Airport and New York JFK airport. As Capital.gr reports, the flight will be operated daily with an Airbus A330-300 aircraft with 298 seats, in junction with Air France KLM.

Delta’s senior vice president of Europe, Middle East and Africa, Perry Cantarutti said: “We are delighted to see the return of our summer seasonal flight between Athens and New York, offering customers more choice, nonstop convenience and onward connections to more destinations in the U.S. than any other carrier, including popular destinations such as Florida and California.”

He also added: “The route is popular with both business and leisure travelers and we are already seeing very positive booking figures. This summer, our passengers will also be able to enjoy a range of new in-flight amenities, complementing Delta’s award winning on board service.”

According to Capital.gr, on May 24,  Delta Air Lines was about to open Terminal 4 at New York-JFK, as part of the company’s investments for the amelioration of its products and services. Terminal 4 will be one of the largest terminals in North America, with many shopping and dining options available for travelers, as well as with the special feature of a Sky Deck – an outdoor airport terrace offering amazing runway views to Business Elite customers.
