Police were investigating the origins of an explosion at the Embati nightclub in northern Attica in the early hours of April 3, the newspaper Kathimerini reported.
While the venue suffered extensive damage no injuries were reported. Embati is situated at the Varibobi junction in Nea Kifissia, northern Athens.
