Greek Seadogs TV Series For Aussies

Greek_seaPeter Pentz, a Sydney businessman who characterizes himself as Hellenophile, decided to make a five-part documentary that will present the Greek people of the sea. The documentary will be screened on Australian television, as well as on televisions of other countries.

The shooting of the series Greek Seadogs will begin in June and the host of the series will be the popular Greek Australian television star, George Houvardas.

The inspirer and producer of the series, Pentz, says that the Greek seas and islands are the “absolute paradise. As if they were made with absolute enthusiasm from God”.

He said he wants to show this to the world. “The natural beauties along with their incredible inhabitants,” he says.

“The crisis in Greece and the negative publicity influenced the island residents, too. They became wary of strangers. What we want to show- and this is our real motivation here- is that Greece and the islands keep having a beating heart, they are still alive and they keep having a warm, welcoming smile and open arms for the tourists. And when you get there, nothing has changed. The restaurants, the bars and the cafes are still open, the flights are continuing and the ships are still traveling to Greece, and the food is as good as ever,” he said.
