Eurogroup and Greece Attract International Media Attention

Eurogroup’s failure yesterday to reach an agreement about Greece after 12 hours of talks, attracted the attention of international media agencies today with most reports underlining that now Greece is forced to anxiously wait for the disbursal of the next aid package of 44 billion Euros.
BBC noted that Europe failed to reach an agreement on Greece and needs more time to make up its mind on the matter, while Reuters pointed out that for the second consecutive week international borrowers of the cash-strapped country failed to find a commonly accepted solution to fight the ever rising debt sum of Greece.
Financial Times reported that the Euro Zone is postponing to implement the agreement to help Greece, and the Guardian daily commented positively on the prospect of giving extra time until 2022 for Greece to achieve its fiscal targets.
Wall Street Journal read that the 12-hour long meeting of the Euro Zone Finance Ministers and the IMF could not agree on the debt issue of Greece and that technical details and problems would be once again discussed on coming Monday morning, where a solution is hoped to be decided.
