The following short list features three of the most expensive suites, hotel rooms and villas in Greek luxury hotels. If money is not getting in the way, then there’s nothing to stop one from enjoying their vacation in a so-called private “paradise on earth”. For the few who can afford it, living like a king or a queen may be closer to reality than for most of the plain people of this planet. Nevertheless, let’s take a look to some dreamy and super-luxury facilities welcoming wealthy guests in Greece.

Grand Resort Lagonissi, Lagonissi, Attica – almost 33,000 Euros
According to the British newspaper ‘Daily Telegraph’, the “Royal Villa” of Grand Resort Lagonissi is one of the most expensive hotel rooms in the world with the accommodation charges amounting to some 38,000 Euros per night. Located in the city of the same name 40km south of Athens, the resort extends in a private peninsula that not only offers luxury hotel rooms, suites and villas but also gourmet restaurants, spa centres, sports fields, tennis fields, a marina, water sports centre, beauty salons and luxury shopping facilities. Leonardo Di Caprio was one of the many famous stars who have decided to book the Royal Villa.
The 410 sq villa comprises of three bedrooms, two pools – one on the inside and the other on the outside, which is heated. There is also a fully equipped kitchenette and grill as well as BBQ. A wooden walk-in closet, marble bathrooms, private massage area with a massage-table, remote controlled mattresses and curtains, heated floors and private parking area, a steam room, a private beach, butler, chef, fireplace, and piano with a pianist and a 640 sq garden.

Elounda Peninsula, Elounda, Crete – at about 30,000 Euros
Royal amenities and the natural beauties of Crete are well combined in this hotel resort that is only accessible through a private road. The hotel features bars with huge balconies, a gourmet restaurant, the winery Kelari, golf course, boutiques, spa centre, heliport, yacht marina and water sports centre.
The most luxurious parts of the hotel are the two neighboring villas – Royal Grand Suite and Peninsula Residence, which form the biggest hotel resort complex in the world. Royal Grand Suite has a spacious living room, dining room, two master bedrooms, jacuzzi bathtub, sauna, heated pool, gym, Turkish hammam, outside heated pool, an enormous garden and a veranda with view to the sea. Peninsula Residence villa is twice as big as the first one and comprises of a living room, a king-size bedroom, three master bedrooms, office, dining room and rooms for the personnel. The two villas can be separately or jointly booked for more than 30,000 Euros per night.
