President of the Hellenic Republic Karolos Papoulias praised expatriate Greek university professors and their work in foreign countries and not just Europe, during a meeting he had with professors Demetres Kerides (Panteion University of Athens), Stathis Kalyvas (Yale University) and A. Gofa (Lecturer at Panteion) at the Presidential Palace on the occasion of the events they organize under the title “Olympia Summer Seminars.”
On his behalf, Professor Kerides answered that the seminars provide Greek university professors abroad and participating students with the opportunity to explore career prospects in foreign universities.
“We are doing great things with limited resources,” he noted.
