The Metropolitan Social Practice which has been operating on the premises of the former national airport (Elliniko, Voula) has from now on the chance to provide free medical treatment to cancer patients who happen not to be insured.
“Social” doctors will be referring poor and/or uninsured cancer patients to the specialized Oncology Department of Sotiria Hospital in Athens, where they will be receiving free medical care and undertaking every necessary test for their health condition, such as chemotherapy.
