“Three Men and A Red Head” Exhibition in Melbourne Curated by Greek Artist Kaliopy

Greek-Australian renowned artist Kaliopy is demonstrating her work until 22 July at the 69 Street Smith  Gallery in Melbourne. The exhibition entitled “Three Men and a Red Head” showcases a diverse style of art and stories.

This event, curated by Kaliopy, brings international artists together for an intimate group show, from the Holocaust Series to Scenic Landscaping, Sensuality & Quirkiness to the launch of the Carry Art movement.

Obviously, Kaliopy is the “red head.” But who are the three men, you ask? Famous Otto Boron, Thomas Delohery and Patrick Jennings Brady are the three men ‘accompanying’ the Greek artist.

The group of painters selected for this exhibition is a pretty interesting choice, taking into account their nationalities. An Irishman, an Italian, an American and a Greek artist meet each other artistically and exhibit their personal work in a clearly multicultural exhibition.

Otto Boron is an Italian artist, living in Melbourne. He is regarded as one of Melbourne’s most eminent painters, especially for his ability to make imaginary landscapes look alive.

Irish Melbourne-based Thomas Delohery is a well-known artist, notably for his paintings about the Holocaust, while Patrick J. Brady coming from New York depicts historic moments in a sarcastic way.

As for Greek Kaliopy, her paintings are intensely sensual. This strange and unusual combination of these four artists offers a unique experience to Melbourne-based lovers of art.
