The parliamentary elections of May 6 brought significant changes in the strength of parties and the human geography of the parliament. While the count of crosses has not been completed, the first image shows that the big political names have been left out and many members are elected for the first time, Protothema reported.
Attica region
In the first Athens District ND takes 8 seats, SYRIZA 3, PASOK 1, Independent Greeks 1, Golden Dawn 2, KKE 1 and Democratic Left 1. ND re-elects Avramopoulos, Olga Kefalogianni, Prokopis Pavlopoulos, Fotini Pipili, Nikitas Kaklamanis, Andreas Psiharis, Notis Mitarakis and Vasilis Kikilias. SYRIZA elects Alexis Tsipras, Zoe Kostantopoulou and Nickos Voutsis. PASOK elects Kostas Skandalidis, Independent Greeks elect Elena Kountoura and Golden Dawn Nikos Michaloliakos and Ioannis Vouldis.
In the second Athens district, ND takes 14 seats with Kiriakos Mitsotakis, Kostis Chatzidakis, Miltiadis Varvitsiotis, Argiris Ntinopoulos, Evangelos Meimarakis, Aris Spiliotopoulos, Panos Panagiotopoulos, Gerasimos Giakoumatos, Viron Polidoras, Yiannis Papathanasiou and Adonis Georgiadis. Katerina Papakosta and Sofia Voultepsi come back and Anna Karamanli is elected for the first time. SYRIZA elects Sofia Sakorafa, Panayiotis Kouroublis, Dimitris Papadimoulis, Yiannis Dragasakis, Rena Dourou, Dimitris Stratoulis, Olga Valavani, Petros Tatsopoulos and Efklidis Tsakalotos.
PASOK re-elects Andreas Loverdos, Michalis Chrisochoidis, Mimis Androulakis and Apostolos Kaklamanis but not Yiannis Ragousis, Petros Efthimiou, Giorgos Koutroumanis, Milena Apostolaki, Dimitris Reppas, Anna Ntalara, Christos Protopapas, Telemachis Chitiris, Marilisa Xenogiannakopoulou, Yiannis Vouros, Rodoula Zisis and Athina Dretta.
Independent Greeks elect Panos Kammenos, Yiannis Dimaras, Vasilis Kapernaros, Yiannis Manolis and Pavlos Kontogiannidis, Golden Dawn Nikos Michaloliakos, Eleni zaroulia and Yiorgos Germenis.
In Attica, Makis Voridis, Athanasios Bouras and Yiorgos Vlachos are elected with ND, while Kanteres is left out.
SYRIZA elects Alexis Mitropoulos and Nasos Athanasiou, PASOK Evi Christophilopoulou but not Ntinos Vretos, Pantelis Aspradakis and Yiorgos Papakonstantinou, Independent Greeks Pavlos Chaikalis and Evgenia Arvaniti-Prevezanou, KKE Ioannis Gkiokas, Golden Dawn Ilias Kasidiaris and Democratic Left Vasilios Economou but not Athanasios Leventis.
In the first district of Piraeus, ND elects Konstantinos Arvanitopoulos, SYRIZA Thodoris Dritsas, Independent Greeks Panagiotia Melas, KKE Elpida Pantelidaki, Democratic LeftMaria Repousi and Golden Dawn Nikolaos Kouzilos.
In the second district of Piraeus Yianis, Tragakis is elected from ND, Dimitris Lintzeris from PASOK, Panayiotis Lafazanis and Tzeni Vamvaka from SYRIZA, Yiannis Kourakos from Independent Greeks, Diamanto manolakou from KKE, Ioannis Lagos from Golden Dawn and Maria Giannakaki, but not Grigoris Niotis and Giannis Diamantidis from PASOK, Anastasios Nerantzis feom ND and Vera Nikolaidou from KKE and LAOS’ Yiorgos Anatolakis is left out of parliament.
Epirus region
3 MPs are elected in Arta, Konstantinos Stylianos from ND, Olga Gerovasili from SYRIZA and Michalis Gokas from PASOk but not Kostantinos Papasiozos from ND and Dimitris Tsironis from PASOK.
In Ioannina, ND re-elects Kostas Tasoulas and Stavros Kaloianis, Christos Mantas from SYRIZA AND Nikos Exarhos from KKE, PASOK Michalis Kassis, but not Michalis Pantoulas and Thanassis Oikonomou.
ND takes the one seat in Thesprotia and former vice minister Antonis Bezsas replace Christos Katsouras of PASOK.
Dimitris Tsoumanis from ND and Vasilis Ioanou from PASOK are reelected in Preveza.
Eastern Macedonia-Thrace district
In Drama, ND elects Dimitris Kiriazidis, PASOK loses Hara Kefalidou’s seat and Christos Aidonis is re-elected and Independent Greeks elect Nikos Smoloktos.
In Evros, ND elects Kiriakos Gerontopoulos and Alexis Dermentzopoulos, PASOK Yiorgos Ntolios, and if Panos Kammenos does not take this seat, the Independent Greeks will elect Marinos Ouzounidis.
In Kavala, PASOK loses its two seats and only Michalis Timosidis is re-elected, ND reelects Nikos Panagiotopoulos, Yiorgos Kalantzis and Yiannis Paschalidis, SYRIZA Dimitris Emmanouilidis.
In Xanthi, ND elects Alexandros Kontos, PASOK Dimitris Saltouros and SYRIZA Seibek Housein.
In Rodopi, PASOK elects Hadji Osman Ahmed but not Yiorgos Petalotis, ND Evripidis Stylianidis and SYRIZA Kara Yousouf Aihan.
Western Macedonia region
PASOK loses its seat in Grevena with Athanasios Hontavas staying out of parliament and Timoleon Kopsahilis takes his place with ND.
In Kastoria, ND elects Maria Antoniou and Independent Greeks Symeon Koumpaniswith Philipos Petsalnikos losing his seat.
In Kozani, ND re-elects Yiorgos Kasapidis but not Michalis Papadopoulos, PASOK reelects Paris Koukoulopoulos but loses Alexandros Athanasiadis and Ioannis Vlatis, Independent Greeks elects Rachil Makri, KKE Kostas Stampolidis and Democratic Left Theodora Tsikardaki.
In Florina, ND re-elects Efstathios Konstantinidis and PASOK Nikos Samaras.
Central Macedonia region
In the first district of Thessaloniki, ND elects I. Ioannidis, Kostas Gioulekas, Stavros Kalafatis, Elena Rapti, Konstantinos Karamanlis, Yiorgos Orfanos. PASOK wins a seat and elects Evangelos Venizelos, SYRIZA Anastasios Kourakis, Giannis Amanatidis, Yiorgos Arhontopoulos, KKE Yiannis Ziogas and Theodosios Konstantinidis, Independent Greeks Hrysoula Patagana and Charalabos Aidinopoulos, Democratic Left Aikaterini Xirotiri and Golden Dawn Antonios Gregos.
In the second district of Thessaloniki, ND elects Thodoros Karaoglou, PASOK Haris Tsiokas, SYRIZA Litsa Amanatidou, KKE Eleni Gerasimidou, Independent Greeks Apostolos Haroupakis, Democratic Left Aikaterini Markou and Golden Dawn Polivios Zisimopoulos.
In Imathia, SYRIZA elects Xanthipi Karanika, PASOK Aggelos Tolkas, Independent Greeks Konstantinos Giovanopoulos and KKE Sofronov Ioanna Tampaki.
In Kilkis, ND elects Yiorgos Georgantas, PASOK Theodoros Parastatidis and SYRIZA Irini-Eleni Agathopoulou.
In Pella, ND elects Yiorgos Karasmanis and Yiorgos Hristogiannis, PASOK Thodora Tzakri, Independent Greeks Athanasios Grammatikopoulos.
In Pieria, ND elects Konstantinos Koukodimos, Yiorgos Konstantopoulos, Dimitris Hristogiannis and Independent Greeks Evgenis Papadopoulos.
In Serres, ND elects Menelaos Vlahveis, Fotini Arampatzi, Thofilos Leontaridis, PASOK Markos Bolaris, Independent Greeks Maria Kolia Tsarouha, Golden Dawn Nikitas Siois, Democratic Left Evagelos Fotiou.
In Chalkidiki, ND has one seat with Efthimios Karanasios, PASOK WITH Yiannis Drivelegas and SYRIZA with Aikaterini Igglezi.
Western Greece regio
In Aitoloakarnania, ND re-elects Marios Salmas and Konstantinos Karagounis, SYRIZA elects Yiorgos Varemenos, PASOK Thanasis Moraitis, Independent Greeks Dimitris Stamatis, KKE elects one MP with Nikos Moraitis and Panagiotis Nikolopoulos at the front. Democratic Left with one MP as well other than Fotis Kouvelis has Pavlos Thodoridis and Vasilis Patronis in first place while Golden Dawn has Kostas Mparmparousis and Leonidas Stathopoulos as its first candidates.
In Achaia, ND takes two seats with Athanasios Ntavlouros, Nikos Nikolopoulos and Michalis Bekiris up front, SYRIZA takes two seats as well with Alexis Tsipras, Maria Kanelopoulou and Vasilsi Hatzilabrou in the first spots, PASOK has one seat with Yiorgos Papandreou as first candidate followed by Kostas Spiliopoulos and Athanasios Papadopoulos. KKE has one seat with Nikos Karathanasopoulos and Dimitris Aggelopoulos in the front, Democratic Left with one seat and Nikos Tsoukalis and Eleni Aktipi, Independent Greeks with Yiorgos Ntavris and Spyridoula Anagnostopoulou, Golden Dawn with Michalis Arvanitis and Anastasios Giahalis, all with one seat.
In Ilia, ND re-elects Kostas Tzavara and Dionysia Avgerinopoulou, PASOK Yiannis Koutsoukos but not Michalis Katrinis, Independent Greeks Yiannis Konstantopoulos, SYRIZA Efi Georgopoulou Saltari and Golden Dawn Nikolaos Krespis.
Central Greece region
In Viotia, ND elects Yiannis Karabelas, Andreas Koutsoubas and Evangelos Basiakos, SYRIZA Yinanis Stathas, Independent Greeks Michalis Giannakis and Aria Agatsa that moved from ND was not elected.
In Evia, ND does not have a seat so Simos Kedikoglou is out, Independent Greeks elect Kostas Markopoulos the former ND member, PASOK reelects Simeon Kedikoglou but not Katerina Perlepe Sifounaki, SYRIZA re-elects Dimitris Apostolou, Democratic Left Dimitris Anagnostakis, Golden Dawn Nikolaos Mihos and Ouranis Papadaki Papandreou from LAOS is out.
In Fthiotida, ND re-elects Christos Staikouras, SYRIZA elects Vasilis Kyriakakis, PASOK re-elects Nikos Tsonis, Independent Greeks elect Theodoros Himaras and Golden Dawn Apostolos Gletsos (not the mayor of Stilida). Katerina Mpatzeli and Tonia Antoniou from PASOK are out.
ND wins the one seat in Evritania with Kostas Kontogiorgos and Ilias Karanikas from PASOK out.
The one seat in Fokida goes to ND and Aspasia Mandreka and Afroditi Papathanasi from PASOK does not get elected.
Thessaly region
In Karditsa, ND re-elects Kostas Tsiaras and Spyros Taliadouros as well as Asimina Skondra, SYRIZA elects Nikos Michalakis and KKE Vagelis Boutas.
In Larisa, ND re-elects Maximos Harakopoulos and elects Christos Kellas, PASOK reelects Filipos Sachinidis but not Vasilis Exarhos and Vasiliki Alexandridou, KKE Yiorgos Lamproulis but not Antonis Skilakos, SYRIZA re-elects Iro Dioti, Democratic Left Thomas Psiras, Golden Dawn Chrisovalantis Alexopoulos and Asterios Rontoulis is left out.
In Magnisia, ND elects Thanasis Nakos, KKE Apostolos Nanos, ND president Antonis Samaras was a candidate in Magnisia and Mesinis but he choses Mesinia as it seems, Democratic Left Parisis Moutsinas, Independent Greeks Marina Chrisoveloni and Golden Dawn Panyiotis Iliopoulos. Konstantinos Kartalis and Rodoula Zisi were left out along with Pavlos Markakis from LAOS.
In Trikala, ND elects Ilias Vlahogiannis and reelects Kostas Srekas, PASOK elects Yiorgos Oikonomou, KKE re-elects Achileas Kantartzis, Democratic Left elects Yiorgos Kiritsis while Christos Chaidos and Christos Magoufis from PASOK are left out.
Peloponnisos region
In Argolida, ND re-elects Yiannis Andrianos, PASOK Ioaanis Maniatis and SYRIZA elects Dimitris Kodelas.
In Arkadia, ND re-elects Andreas Lykourentzos, PASOK Odysseas Konstantinopoulos and SYRIZA elects Kostas Zacharias.
In Korinthia, ND elects Nikos Tagara and Christos Dimas, SYRIZA Maria Theleriti and Golden Dawn Efstathios Boukouras. Panos Beglitis and Aikaterini Farmaki-Geki from PASOK are out along with Kostas Kollias from ND.
In Lakonia, ND reelects Thanasis Davakis, PASOK Leonidas Grigorakos, SYRIZA Stavros Arachovitis and Grigoris Apostolakos is left out.
In Messinia, ND elects Yiannis Labropoulos and Dimitris Sampaziotis but it the ND president chooses the seat in Messinia than Sampaziotis will lose his seat. PASOK reelects Nantia Gianakopoulou, SYRIZA Thanasis Petrakos and Golden Dawn Dimitris Koukoutsis with Dimitris Kouselas from PASOK and Odysseas Voudouris from the Democratic Left staying out of parliament.
Ionian region
The seat in Zakynthos is won by ND with Dionysis Gasparos.
In Corfu, SYRIZA elects Stefanos Samoilis, KKE reelects Charalampos Charalampous and ND Nikos Dendias with Antzela Gerekou from PASOK being left out.
The seat in Kephalonia is won by SYRIZA with Afroditi Theopeftatou and Spyros Moshopoulos of PASOK stays out of parliament.
The seat in Lefkada is won by ND with Th. Soldatos.
Northern Aegean region
In Lesvos, ND elects Pavlos Vogiatzis, KKE Dimitris Karagiannis and SYRIZA Yiannis Serdelis. Nikos Sifounakis from PASOK was left out along with Spyros Galinos from Independent Greeks.
The one seat in Samos is taken by KKE with Dimitris Mavraziotis.
In Chios, ND re-elects Kostas Mousouroulis and PASOK Kostas Triantafilopoulos wit Elpida Tsouri of PASOK being left out of parliament.
Southern Aegean region
In Cyclades, ND re-elects Yiannis Vroutsis, Independent Greeks elect Marios Voutsinos and SYRIZA Nikos Syrmalenios with Panayiotis Rigas and Yiorgos Papamanolis of PASOK being left out.
In the Dodecanese, ND elects V. Ipsislantis, Manos Konsolas, Yiannis Papas, Independent Greeks elect Maria Iatridi and PASOK Dimitris Kremastinos with Yiorgos Nikitiadis and Nikos Zoidis of PASOK staying out of parliament along with Yiorgos Kassaras.
Crete region
In Herakleion, ND elects Manolis Kefalogiannis, M. Senetakis, G. Diktakis, PASOK Vasilis Kegkeroglou, KKE M. Sintihakis, SYRIZA M. Kritsotakis, Democratic Left Ioannis Michelogiannakis and Independent GreeksE. Marias with Maria Skrafnaki and Fragkiskos Parasiris staying out of parliament.
In Chania, ND elects Manousos Voloudakis, Kiriakos Virvidakis and Kostas Giparis, and SYRIZA elects G. Stathakis. Evagelia Kouroupaki, Sifis Valirakis and Eftichis Damianakis of PASOK did not make it to parliament.
In Rethymno, PASOK elects Manolis Othonas and SYRIZA An. Xanthos.
In Lasithi, PASOK re-elects Michalis Kachrimakis and ND Yiannis Plakiotakis.
